This Privacy Policy explains how KSP General Contractors Pte. Ltd. ("KSP", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.

We are a general contracting company based in Singapore, providing construction, renovation, waterproofing, roofing, painting, and repair services. Our registered address is 3 Lorong 14 Geylang #06-04 Central Imperial, Singapore 398915 and our UEN is 202404962W.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us or when it is reasonably necessary for our business purposes. The types of personal data we may collect include:

Via our website contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your address or project location
  • Your enquiry message (if provided)

Contact form submissions are sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint and stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to authorised KSP staff. An email notification is also sent to our team.

Via WhatsApp or phone:

  • Your phone number
  • Your name (if provided)
  • Messages you send to us, including enquiry details, photos, and descriptions of work required

Automatically through our website:

  • Basic website performance and usage data collected by Vercel Speed Insights (our hosting provider's analytics tool)

We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data such as financial information, national identification numbers, or health data. Please do not send us such information.

3. WhatsApp Communications

When you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are sent and received through the WhatsApp Business Platform, which is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your WhatsApp messages and phone number are processed by Meta in accordance with WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.

To help us respond to enquiries promptly, your WhatsApp messages may also be processed by our automation tools (n8n) and an AI-assisted assistant. These tools help us answer common questions, provide preliminary information about our services, and route your enquiry to the right person on our team.

Please note: A member of our team may review your WhatsApp conversations to ensure the quality and accuracy of responses, and to follow up on your enquiry personally.

4. Why We Collect Your Data

We collect and use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your enquiries — answering questions about our services, availability, and pricing
  • Providing quotations and services — preparing estimates and carrying out the contracting work you request
  • Scheduling site visits — arranging on-site inspections and assessments
  • Service follow-up — contacting you after work is completed for quality assurance or warranty purposes
  • Improving our website — understanding how visitors use our site so we can make it more useful

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your personal data with the following categories of service providers, solely for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Meta / WhatsApp — for sending and receiving WhatsApp messages via the WhatsApp Business Platform
  • Vercel — our website hosting provider, which collects basic website performance data through Vercel Speed Insights
  • Google — our website uses Google Fonts for typography, an embedded Google Maps component on the contact page, and Google Apps Script / Google Sheets to store and process website enquiry submissions. Enquiry data is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to authorised KSP staff
  • n8n (automation tooling) — for processing and routing WhatsApp enquiries
  • [PROVIDER NAME] — an AI model provider that processes WhatsApp message content to generate assistant replies

We may engage other service providers from time to time. We will update this policy when we do, and we only share personal data with them as needed for the purposes described above.

7. Overseas Transfers

Some of the third-party service providers listed above may process your data on servers located outside Singapore (for example, Meta, Google, and [PROVIDER NAME] operate globally, Vercel hosts websites on a global network, and Google Sheets/Apps Script data is stored on Google's global infrastructure). Where your personal data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the receiving party provides a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as it is needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Specifically:

  • Enquiry and contact form data: retained for 24 months
  • WhatsApp conversation data: retained for 12 months

When personal data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

9. Security Measures

We implement reasonable security arrangements to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks. Our website is served over HTTPS, and access to personal data within our organisation is limited to authorised personnel who need it to carry out their duties.

While we strive to protect your personal data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining appropriate safeguards.

10. Access and Correction Requests

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

We will respond to your request within 30 calendar days. If we require more time to process your request, we will inform you in writing within that period when we will respond. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. A reasonable fee may apply for access requests that require significant effort to fulfil, in accordance with the PDPA.

11. Cookies and Third-Party Services

Our website uses Vercel Speed Insights, a privacy-focused web analytics service provided by our hosting platform, Vercel. This tool collects anonymised performance data (such as page load times) to help us improve site performance. It does not use cookies for tracking purposes and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) and, on the contact page, an embedded Google Maps widget. These services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google may set its own cookies when these resources are loaded.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking or advertising cookies on this website.

12. Children

Our services are directed at property owners, tenants, and businesses. They are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

We will confirm deletion once the process is complete. Please note that we may need to retain certain data where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as records of completed contractual work). Messages you send through WhatsApp may also be held by Meta and on your own devices; we cannot delete data held by Meta, which is governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
